February - the month for love. You know - Sweethearts, Valetines, the love bug!
Well not this year! Not for us. We started out our 'lovely' month with our youngest little darling Samuel, getting the bug - not the love bug but the stomach bug. He got it from his sister Abigail actually who had the sickness the day before. Poor kids. It just ruins one whole day for them. Running back and forth between the bathroom toilet and the couch to writhe and moan about the tummy ache. Ahhh - - - the stomach bug.
What is it about this time of year that everyone gets that crazy, intrusive, reeking havoc bug?? That bug just really burrs under my skin it does! About every time that bug shows up it starts in the evening and then the poor child is up all night doing nothing but pook and poo! I feel so much sympathy for that child going through the yuckiness. Then guees who is next? You got it - the next kid up the line in age! Poor Emily started getting sick at 5pm yesterday. Poor kid did not let up till about 5am. Every hour or so. Let me tell you - mom is tired!!!! Over the past 4 days I have seen 3 kids through the bug. Wooooo - I am tired . . . . need a nap . . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzz
